Last May 18, Ingennus presented the Requirements Program elaborated for the National Laboratory on Public Health to His Excellency Mr. Juan Ndong Nguema, Minister of Health and Social Welfare, and other authorities and technicians in Equatorial Guinea.

Ingennus presented the work carried out from April 2015 up to this day to define the Requirements Program, including a positive supervision report by the Carlos III Health Institute in Spain.

The Program defines the functional organization of the different areas of the laboratory, as well as the access hierarchy and their connection with the biological security levels of the center. Research areas have been defined, up to a total useful surface of about 3.200 sqm and a total built surface of about 5.100 sqm.

After the presentation, the Program was approved by the Project Management Unit of the Ministry of Health, emphasizing the commitment of the Guinean Government to the improvement of their healthcare system.

Indeed, they are making important health investments by providing healthcare professionals with specialized training, improving the existing healthcare centers and implementing reference centers such as this laboratory.

From this moment on, we will develop the architectural design of the project. After the correspondent administrative approval, the call for proposals of the works is expected to be out by the end of the present year.
