Works in the area of the Ancient Red Blocks in Nouakchott, located at Avenue Charles de Gaulle progress at a good pace a few months after their beginning. This initiative has been promoted by the Government of Mauritania, for the modernization and reconditioning of the city.
The construction of two office and commercial blocks for rental purposes in Lots 1, 7 and 8 is part of this renovation project currently in phase of structure and promoted by the SMID (Société Mauritanienne d’Importation et Distribution), which belongs to WAFA Group.
The architects and quantity surveyors working at Ingennus, responsible for the design of the project, travel to Nouakchott monthly to supervise the works.
Description of the project
LOT 1
Lot 1 (Basement with parking lot + Ground Floor + 15th Floor) is intended for offices, located on the ground floor and commercial premises, between the first and the 14th floor. The 4th floor will accommodate a conference room and a snack bar for private use. The facilities/technical equipment and the Manager’s office will be placed on the top floor;

1st – 3rd Floor (offices): 4.141,2 m²
4 th floor (conference and meeting room): 1.182,35 m²
5 th – 14 th (offices): 6.866 m²

LOTS 7 and 8
These Lots (Basement with parking lot + Ground Floor + 10t Floor) have a similar program to Lot 1. The ground, first, and second floor will accommodate the shopping mall, while the offices will be located between the 3rd and the 9th floor. Finally, the 10th floor will house the facilities and the Manager’s office;
