The event, hosted by Marta Gastón, Regional Government of Aragon’s Representative for Economics, Industry and Employment, has also included the award ceremony for the Aragon Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 2016. The awarded good practices have been presented in four categories: freelancers, SMEs, large corporations and non-profit organizations.

Ingennus has been one of the 24 founding SMEs awarded with the Aragon Enterprise Gold Seal, given to those companies which are highly committed to excellence.

Among the principles of action implemented by our company this year we can include reducing our impact on the environment, making and communicating our decisions in an honest and transparent way and allocating a percentage of our annual net profit to social projects such as Cáritas or the handball club Balonmano Colores. We have also made sure our clients are satisfied with our work by using satisfaction surveys and we have hired young people as part of our staff by participating in the Young Talent Program. Finally, we have made it easier to balance family and work life.

Our concern about sustainable design -also known as Eco-design- is especially relevant when compared to the other practices, mostly because our company is focused on designing highly energy efficient, low-consuming buildings. On the short term, our goal is to obtain Net Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB). On the other hand, our use of BIM reduces deadlines, costs and efforts on the designing process of a project, while creating value on the whole construction process.

Javier Lambán, president of the Regional Government of Aragon, was in charge of ending the ceremony attended by many regional companies.
