In Cameroon, the agricultural sector contributes 20% to GDP and employs around 70% of the workforce. At the same time, unemployment affects mainly young people between 15 and 34, who is the most damaged sector by precarious work.

This innovative project is part of the Program for Youth Agricultural and Livestock Entrepreneurship (PEA-Jeunes) and aims to foster young Cameroonians training and adequate support in managing and developing their own enterprises over the next five years (2016- 2021).

The new infrastructure will be built on a site of about 4400 hectares located near the Sanaga River in the town of Balamba, in the Bokito area in the Central Region of Cameroon. In addition, the incubator center will consist of 4 different zones: a 10 hectares-infrastructure space, a 10 hectares-demonstration space, a 2000 hectares production space and a reserve and extension zone in the remaining area.

The final selection procedure will conclude within approximately one month.
