Project at a public sports complex for the construction of stands on the new football pitch of the municipality of Cuarte de Huerva, located in the middle of a residential zone.
This project resolves the altimetric difference between the approach roads and the playing field with a services building, dressing rooms and offices on which the covered stands are located. The execution of the work, with exposed concrete and steel metal structure, displays a prism structure by way of a very visually attractive roof.
The roof of the complex is an overhang measuring 12 metres wide by 100 metres directrix, whose triangular geometry contributes to the correct transmission of stresses and wind loads. Under its mantle there is capacity for 1,000 premises and a services building with a panoramic café.
This project won first prize in the Redacción de Proyecto competition in January 2009.
